Day By Day by Chris Muir December 18, 2008 – No Sex, Some Lies and AudioTape
Rahm Emanuel has been photographed along with David Axelrod at Barack Obama’s side as “The One” has announced his cabinet members this week – along with the cover-up mantra of not wanting to impede the Blagojevich investigation at the request of the United States Attorney, Patrick Fitzgerald. But, the effervescent and garrulous Emanuel who MAY become Obama’s Presidential Chief of Staff has been mute as to his involvement in the political scandal. Why?
It is easy.
The report is that Patrick Fitzgerald has Rahm on tape 21 times talking to Blagojevich or his staff about appointing Obama’s pick to the U.S. Senate. And, who has custody of the tapes?
Nobody, except the United States Attorney – until Blagojevich is indicted.
Rahm Emanuel is afraid that if he comments or tries to spin the flap that the tapes will prove inconsistencies and/or mistatements, rendering him “radioactive” and OUT THE DOOR. So, he remains quiet and Obama covers for him – at least until next week (December 22nd).

The Iraqi journalist who threw the shoes at President Bush was a Saddam Hussein Baathist Party supporter/member.Go figure.
Flap supposes he could be wearing a Saddam t-shirt? But, would it be the pre-hanged version? Or how about Saddam celebrating the gassing of the Kurds? Invading Kuwait and killing American soldiers?

Day By Day by Chris Muir December 16, 2008 – Cheburger! Cheburger! Cheburger!
Talking about DEAD MEAT, Flap thinks that will be Rahm Emanuel after Hot Rod Blagojevich starts to negotiate with the FEDS about a plea deal. Or, in a protracted trial eventually leading to a plea deal. And, DEAD MEAT will be the Illinois Democrat Party if the continue to insist on an appointment to replace Barack Obama in the U.S. Senate.
It didn’t take long for the GOP to find a way out of the wilderness.

Day By Day by Chris MuirBut, “The Maverick” John McCain, the RIGHT’S (?) Presidential candidate says the GOP should give President-Elect Barack Obama a pass on his association with Hot Rod Blagojevich trying to sell his U.S. Senate seat.McCain even chastized the Republican National Committee.
Looks like a surrender – nothing personal there.

Day By Day by Chris MuirThe political landscape will be even more barren after the MSM gets through with Rham Emanuel, Hot Rod Blagojevich and Obama tomorrow. And, Al Gore?
Don’t count on him for anything but paid speaking gigs to the Arabs and European Socialists.

Day By Day by Chris Muir December 12, 2008 – 350 Million Owners
Day By Day by Chris MuirWell, Chris, the automaker bailout bill failed in the U.S. Senate late last night (52-35, with 60 votes required for cloture) but this morning President Bush is considering using TARP funds anyway. As you remember the TARP funds are the previously approved $700 million for the financial services bailout.Obviously, the stock market does not like the bailout failure with an overnight sell off in overseas markets and our Dow just opened 200 points down.
Flap bets Bush will bail the Big 3 auotmakers out and back to business as usual.

Day By Day by Chris Muir December 11, 2008 – Ruling on the Ruling
Day by Day by Chris MuirWhen Illinois Governor Hot Rod Blagojevich starts to flip to the Feds to save his own ass, more Chicago scandals WILL see the light of day.How will this affect President-Elect Obama?
Well, Michelle Obama is purportedly named in the complaint against Hot Rod and who on Obama’s staff will have been caught on tape talking to him or Blagojevich’s staff?
This Flap will not be going away anytime soon and then there is Tony Rezko, Blagojevich’s bag man.

Day By Day by Chris MuirThe train wreck of the GOP is correct especially should the Republican Senators vote to approve the White House negotiated $15 Billion auto bailout plan. What is President Bush thinking?
The President should PUNT the ball to the Democrats since this is a BAD DEAL that nationalizes the domestic automakers.
A structured bankruptcy for two of the big three is a much better option.
But, Flap could be surprised and the magic number of 60 votes to prevent a filibuster may NOT be at hand. Maybe Senator Bob Corker of Tennessee is correct and the votes are not there.
We can only hope.

Flap wonders if “The One” will have room in his expanded administration for all of the MSM reporrters and producers who sucked up to him throughout the last Presidential campaign cycle?Probably will have to bailout “Big Media.”
But, it is do-able.

Day By Day by Chris Muir December 8, 2008 – No Place Like Home
Speaking about returning home, look at the Detroit automakers returning home to where?Washington D.C. for their bailout.
And, look at America’s big city mayors – same place.
If Congress passes these bailouts, President Bush should veto them and let “The One” make the decision to throw good money after bad.
The GOP should NOT be complicit in rewarding poor business practices and government fiscal mis-management.
