To Flap’s surprise Chicago is eliminated from 2016 Olympics site consideration in the very first round
Is Obama embarassed?
My bet is that Chicago will be picked as the 2016 Olympics host.
The announcement will be made in about two hours and Obama will be hailed as the deciding influence. There will be media interviews all hailing “The One.”
In the meantime, the war in Afghanistan is deteriorating while Obama reviews the situation and American unemployment is at a 9.8 per cent rate with 263,000 jobs lost in the past month, which is a 17 per cent rate including laid-off workers taking part-time work or having given up trying for employment.
But, the United States may get the Olympics in 2016 – some consolation, right?
