Thw whole idea about President Obama appointing CZARS to run federal offices is wrong and should be stopped by a federal court injunction, if need be.

It is obvious that some of Obama’s appointees would never have survived a U.S. Senate advise/consent confirmation process.

Take the case of Kevin Jennings.

Last weekend a Washington Times editorial slammed the White House for turning a blind eye to the Jennings saga. They also uncovered a 1997 speech that Jennings gave in which he said, “One of the people that’s always inspired me is Harry Hay.” Hay was a longtime gay rights advocate and big supporter of the North American Man-Boy Love Association or the group NAMBLA.

In fact, in a 1983 speech Hay said, “If the parents and friends of gays are truly friends of gays, they would know from their gay kids that the relationship with an older man is precisely what 13, 14, and 15-year-old kids need more than anything in the world.”

Now, does anyone really think Jennings would pass a Senate confirmation vetting?

Obama who was elected to bring more transparency to the federal government, in fact, has done the opposite. The President should ask for Jenning’s resignation and that of the other CZARS. If he thinks these people are qualified to be a part of his administration, they can go through the normal Senate confirmation process – just like everyone else.
