The April 15 deadline for federal tax filing is fast approaching and the Tea Party movement is out organizing protests. I remember the one last year in Ventura and this year economic conditions are even worse.

Obviously, President Obama and Congressional Democrats have not received the message.

Gallup Daily tracking for the week ending April 11 puts Republicans slightly ahead of Democrats, 48% to 44%, in the congressional voting preferences of registered voters nationally. This marks the third week since the U.S. House passed healthcare reform on March 21 that the Republicans have tied or led the Democrats.

The November 2010 midterm Congressional and State of California elections cannot come soon enough for Ventura County voters. They will be marching to the ballot box and will NOT be bending over.
