Day By Day March 5, 2011 – Small Talk
America has been in Afghanistan for almost a decade and many wonder when this war will end? Since the beginning the goal has been nebulous at best and with President Obama there is disinterest in its resolution.
Since the Taliban have their allies/safe harbor in Pakistan and make incursions into Afghanistan wouldn’t it be better to just withdraw and react to a resurgent Taliban when that occurs? Or, go into Pakistan and clear them out once and for all.
The Vietnamization of this war by Obama serves no purpose.
Either win the war or get out promptly.
