Herman Cain,  President 2012

President 2012 GOP Poll Watch: 51 Per Cent Say Accusations Against Herman Cain Likely Serious and True

According to the latest Rasmussen Poll.

Most voters now say that the sexual harassment allegations made against Herman Cain may be both serious and true. At the same time, two-thirds believe Cain’s ethics are at least as good as most politicians. The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 51% of voters nationwide say it is at least somewhat likely the allegations against Cain are both serious and true.

The survey of 1,000 Likely Voters was conducted on November 7-8, 2011 by Rasmussen Reports. The margin of sampling error is +/- 3 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence.

I tweeted yesterday that it was my opinion that Herman Cain was DONE.

I think you can say that American voters agree.

Put a fork in Herman Cain – He’s DONE.

I disagree.  The allegations seem suspiciously timed, and unoriginal at best.  This was all settled long ago.  GOP competitors did some digging and pulled this out, and people will believe it.  If this is proven wrong, I’ll be truly angered.  Mind you, I may be wrong, I have no proof one way or the other.  I’m not even necessarily a Herman Cain supporter.  But doesn’t this seem a little odd?

I disagree.  As far as the latest ‘accuser,’ her “Don’t you know I have a boyfriend” reaction begs the question if she thought it would be okay if she did NOT have a boyfriend.
If you were assaulted like this, would you have smiled and joked around during her presser? If she was so hurt, why go on a media circuit blitz?
As a woman, I would have slapped him and gone to the police right after he did it. AND I would not have gone out for dinner and drinks with a potential employer.
    Very smelly indeed!

Anyway, why did she not come out when he ran for Senate? Or as soon as he declared his run for Presidency? Or, for that matter, when his numbers were low?  This applies to all the accusers.
I find it interesting the sequence of this:
    1. Anonymous person who got an Agreement with NRA, which Cain never signed, first was pleading to be released so she can go public. NRA released her, then she did not want to go public to protect her family.
    2. Anonymous 2 & 3, wants to remain anonymous but never filed charges. Again, waiting until now to come forward??
    3. Polls continue to surge for Cain, along with donations.
    4. It seems since the first 3 did not kick Cain out, all of a sudden we have two more accusers all of sudden come public now. #5 works for the Obama Administration.

    Coincidence? Maybe, maybe not.
So it goes in trials by the media, in the court of public opinion.

BTW – I wonder if this will make the circuit:
Lie Detector test points to Herman Cain being innocent of sexual advances.

    From the article:
TJ Ward: “He is being truthful, totally truthful. He is a man with integrity and he talked directly about not knowing any incident he is accused of.”
The software analyzes the stress level and other factors in your voice. During the speech, when Cain denied the claims, the lie detector read “low risk.” According to TJ Ward, that means Cain is telling the truth.
During the section of Bialek’s news conference where she says, “He suddenly reached over put his hand on my leg under my skirt and reached for my genitals he also grabbed my head brought it towards his crotch.”
During the analysis of that section the software said “high risk statement.” Ward said that means she is not telling the truth about what happened.
“I don’t think she is fabricating her meetings,” said Ward. But, she is fabricating what transpired.” ” <===== Hmmmmm
