Chris, with the ObamaCare mandates, taxes and without a Medicaid doctor payment fix you may see physicians just cutting back on their practice and retiring from the profession.

The word is already out there to medical and dental students that massive student debt to enter these professions is NOT worth it.

This is not the way to attract the best and the brightest into such a demanding and necessary job.

Just wait….it will only get worse in 2013.

Chris, the sad part is that a goodly number of physicians WILL retire if and when ObamaCare is implemented. There will be just no incentive to accept the risk for little reward and they close their private practices.

But, you see that is what President Obama and his friends on the Far Left want – a government run, single payer health care system where the physicians all work for the government, like Britain’s National Health Service. No more private practice medicine.

This will be sorted out, but in the meantime, it will be difficult to find a doctor – the ones remaining will be overwhelmed with work.

Chris, the RIGHT does NOT need to be supportive of anything but the American people and the Constitution.

If the LEFT wants to be divisive and win elections in this manner, then let them.

Democratic National Committee Chair Debbie Wasserman-Schultz said the Republican Party “got whiter and more male” while the Democratic caucus is “majority minority and female.”

“Take a good look when the House convenes after this next Congress is sworn in at what our side of the aisle looks like versus what the Republican side looks like. I mean they got whiter and more male, and we now have a majority minority and female Democratic caucus – first time in history,” Debbie Wasserman-Schultz said Wednesday at a discussion hosted by the Emily’s List, a group known for supporting pro-abortion female candidates.

She said when women run for office, “Democrats win.”

So, let’s see. Man versus woman and whites versus people of color.

I thought politics was about issues and public policy?

    Pretty pathetic….

Chris, all of this talk of “Secession” from the United States is just “Sour Grapes” talk because President Obama was re-elected.

    So what?

All conservative activists knew that Mitt Romney was NOT a conservative anyway.

A Romney Presidency would have been a smoother talking McCain Presidency or Bush-lite without the wars.

The national Republican Party needs to retool and reinvent itself with a younger generation of voters – you know the ones who were born after Ronald Reagan was President.

The GOP has a good bench with 30 Governors and control the House – a better position than in 2008 when Obama was elected with “Hope and Change.”

Who will the Democrats nominate in 2016?

A tired and worn out Hillary Clinton who will be approaching 70 years of age? Probably.

Conservatives need to regroup and help the Republican Party nominate a conservative candidate for President and develop a conservative bench for lower offices in the House and Senate and the statehouses.

Secession talk is just HOT AIR.

Conservatives need to get busy – there is a lot of work to do.

    Chris, I feel your frustration….

In the meantime, President Obama has a perfunctory meeting this morning with Congressional leaders regarding the “Fiscal Cliff” and then he is off for his Asian trip.

So, the financial markets will be jittery as the President jaunts off on a Thanksgiving week trade trip – junket.

There will be NO leadership there since Obama really doesn’t care if the Bush era tax cuts expire or not. And, he knows the feckless GOP will cave at the last minute anyway.

Time for the GOP Congressional leadership to call the President’s bluff and vote to cut taxes for all, but the top wage earners. Then, hit Obama hard on spending cuts that, so far, he has refused to enumerate.

Let’s see if anything gets done by the second week of December.

    Somehow, I doubt it.

Chris, President Obama will be traveling today to New York to view the Hurricane Sandy damage and for the obligatory photo opp with his Democratic POL colleagues.

In the midst of a political tempest that has engulfed his former CIA director and his top military commander in Afghanistan, President Barack Obama is traveling to New York City to view recovery efforts from the massive East Coast storm Sandy.

While there today, Obama will meet with affected families, local officials and first responders who have been dealing with the deadly storm, which slammed into New York, New Jersey and other East Coast states late last month, killing more than 100 people and leaving millions without power.

Obama’s visit will include an aerial tour of storm damage, during which he will be joined by New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, Mayor Michael Bloomberg, Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano and Housing and Urban Development Secretary Shaun Donovan. Obama also will visit a Federal Emergency Management Agency disaster recovery center and take a walking tour of a neighborhood affected by the storm. Sens. Charles Schumer and Kirsten Gillibrand, both New York Democrats, will travel with the president aboard Air Force One.

    Symbolism over substance?

Well, Obama has proven to be better at campaigns than governing.
