Weinergate: Rep Nancy Pelosi Calls for Ethics Inquiry Over Weiner Tweet Scandal

Who will be the first Dem to throw Weiner under the bus?
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and Rep. Steve Israel, the chairman of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, are calling for an investigation into Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-N.Y.) over the series of sexually explicit conservations and lewd photos he exchanged with a half-dozen women during the last several years.

“I am deeply disappointed and saddened about this situation; for Anthony’s wife, Huma, his family, his staff and his constituents,” Pelosi said in a statement released on Monday night.

“I am calling for an Ethics Committee investigation to determine whether any official resources were used or any other violation of House rules occurred.”

Israel added: “Congressman Anthony Weiner engaged in a deep personal failure and inappropriate behavior that embarrassed himself, his family, and the House. Ultimately, Anthony and his constituents will make a judgment about his future .

“To remove all remaining doubt about this situation, I agree with Leader Pelosi’s request that the House Ethics Committee use its authority to begin an investigation.”

It won’t be long before Weiner is shown the door by his fellow Dems. If not, the liability he will have for the Democrats going into an election year will sink many ships. Can you imagine the Congressional television ads?

Video: Powershift 2011 – How The Obama Administration and Democratic Leaders Encourage Environmental Radicals

Posted 1 CommentPosted in Barack Obama, Earth Day, Lisa Jackson, Nancy Pelosi, Powershift, Van Jones

Good Grief.

I remember when Earth Day started when I was in college. Look at how it has grown into an environmental socialist anti-capitalist revolution.

Let’s see, Obama EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson, former White House Green Jobs Advisor Van Jones, Al Gore and the green jobs industry, what could go wrong?

Oh yeah – Where are the jobs?

Day By Day by Chris Muir

President Obama and Congressional Democrats who support Obamacare, Chris, have already MISSED the call. The Democrats have massive, filibuster-proof majorities in the U.S. Senate. So, why are they waiting for the minority Republicans on the Senate Finance Committee?

Why are they wasting your time with town hall meetings when the Congressional Leadership have already made up their minds to RAM the socialistic Obamacare through?

Answer: Political Cover

So, Democrat POLS like Nancy Pelosi (Nazis), Harry Reid (Evil Mongers) and Shelia Jackson Lee (imposter astroturfe fake physicians and ignore via cell phone) will continue their conduct until the White House exerts some damage control.

Day By Day by Chris Muir

Americans angry over the Obama Administration and Congressional Democrats blazen attempt to socialized the health care system are turning out at town hall meetings in unprecedented numbers. Isn’t this participation the American Way?

Yet, Democrat House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and others, including the White House are demonizing the demonstrators as Nazi’s, astroturfers and out of the mainstream nut jobs. They do so at their own political peril.

What the Democrats have to worry about is NOT the passage of Obamacare – because in its present form, will NOT pass, but independent voters who are beginning to realize that Obama conned them using Saul Alinsky tactics over the past year. Americans want policy substance and are seeing none of it from Obama and the majority Congressional Democrats.

Obamacare: Un-American Attacks Can’t Derail Health Care Debate

Posted 2 CommentsPosted in Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Obamacare, Steny Hoyer

I think Pelosi and Hoyer have lost their damn mind.

In the meantime, as members of Congress spend time at home during August, they are talking with their constituents about reform. The dialogue between elected representatives and constituents is at the heart of our democracy and plays an integral role in assuring that the legislation we write reflects the genuine needs and concerns of the people we represent.

However, it is now evident that an ugly campaign is underway not merely to misrepresent the health insurance reform legislation, but to disrupt public meetings and prevent members of Congress and constituents from conducting a civil dialogue. These tactics have included hanging in effigy one Democratic member of Congress in Maryland and protesters holding a sign displaying a tombstone with the name of another congressman in Texas, where protesters also shouted “Just say no!” drowning out those who wanted to hold a substantive discussion.

Let the facts be heard

These disruptions are occurring because opponents are afraid not just of differing views — but of the facts themselves. Drowning out opposing views is simply un-American. Drowning out the facts is how we failed at this task for decades.

I thought dissent was the highest form of patriotism?

Now, if there is criminal behavior or violence that is one thing but heated argument and protest are quite another. If Speaker Pelosi wants to have legislation her way I challenge her to just pass it. She has a large majority of Democrat Party members.

But, this will NOT happen because her fellow Democrats are NOT stupid and wish to be re-elected.

This stifling of dissent and ridiculing of opponents ala Saul Alinsky will not only sink Obamacare but also incumbent Democrat members of Congress.

Stay tuned…..
