The New York Times: U.S. says Iran-supplied bomb is killing more troops in Iraq.

FOX News: Captured Video Shows Iraqi Insurgents Firing Sophisticated Iranian-Made Rockets at U.S. Positions.

And why is the United States negotiating with these murderers?

Does the President need more evidence of their complicity in the death of Americans?

Republican presidential hopeful Rudy Giuliani, left, shakes hands while watching a baseball game between the Cincinnati Reds and Los Angeles Dodgers from the owners box, Thursday, Aug. 9, 2007, in Cincinnati.

The SurveyUSA California poll has Mayor Rudy Giuliani leading the California Republican Primary election by over a 2:1 margin.

Meanwhile, Mitt Romney has failed to obtain any voter support and polls a mere 4th place.

John McCain is fading and is now in 3rd place.

The GOP NUTS:

Rudy – 39%

Fred Thompson – 19%

McCain – 16%

Romney – 10%

1065576026 105e6995d2 o In California Giuliani Now Leads Thompson 2 to 1 and Romney 4 to 1

Note the Mayor’s lead in all areas of California, and his particular strength in Northern California. Since the GOP nomination is based on winning each Congressional district as well as at large delegates, Rudy is best positioned to run the table on California delegates.

Also, as Flap has written before, it is likely that California will change their Presidential Electoral College delegate selection process to also be by Congressional district. The Mayor will be well positioned to contend for many California Electoral College votes in the general election against Hilary Clinton.

I can accept Romney’s conversion to a pro-life position but the main question is Romney SINCERE or POLITICALLY EXPEDIENT?

Most probably the latter. This makes him a LIAR and disqualifies him from the Presidency.

0 Mitt Romney Watch: Faking It on Abortion

Today the Boston Globe has a piece that says nearly the same – there are problems with Romney’s honesty:

Politicians always listen for the beat of the constituency they seek to represent, and waltz to it as best they can. They routinely tap dance around tough issues. They cha-cha-cha, reversing course when necessary. But they don’t all do what Romney did on abortion rights. He engaged in a full-body tango with Massachusetts voters, doing everything he could to convince them he was pro-choice. He used his mother and another dead relative as props in a cold political calculation. But, this “pro-life Mormon,” to quote Murphy, was “faking it” big time.

That’s more than a mistake. That’s dishonest.

Let’s look AGAIN at the Romney Flip Flop Faking It positions on abortion:

  • 1994: Mitt Romney was pro-choice:“I believe that abortion should be safe and legal in this country. I have since the time that my mom took that position when she ran in 1970 as a US Senate candidate. I believe that since Roe v. Wade has been the law for 20 years we should sustain and support it.” (Joan Vennochi, “Romney’s Revolving World,” The Boston Globe, 3/2/06)
  • 2001: Mitt Romney was not pro-choice:“I do not wish to be labeled pro-choice.” (Mitt Romney, Letter to the Editor, The Salt Lake Tribune, 7/12/01)
  • 2002: Mitt Romney was again pro-choice:“I respect and will protect a woman’s right to choose. This choice is a deeply personal one … Women should be free to choose based on their own beliefs, not mine and not the government’s.” (Stephanie Ebbert, “Clarity Sought On Romney’s Abortion Stance,” The Boston Globe, 7/3/05)
  • November 2004: Mitt Romney said he converted to the pro-life position.Romney said he changed his views after meeting with Harvard scientists on stem-cell research: ‘It hit me very hard that we had so cheapened the value of human life in a Roe v. Wade environment that it was important to stand for the dignity of human life.’ (Karen Tumulty, “What Romney Believes,” Time, 5/21/07)
  • May 2005: Mitt Romney reaffirmed that he was “absolutely committed” to support the pro-choice position.Six months after he claimed to have converted to the pro-life position, Romney stated: “I am absolutely committed to my promise to maintain the status quo with regards to laws relating to abortion and choice and so far I’ve been able to successfully do that and my personal philosophical views about this issue is not something that I think would do anything other than distract from what I think is a more critical agenda …” (Mitt Romney, Remarks At Press Conference, 5/27/05)
  • January 2007: Mitt Romney acknowledged he was “effectively pro-choice.”On January 29, 2007 during a visit to South Carolina, Romney stated: “Over the last multiple years, as you know, I have been effectively pro-choice.” (Bruce Smith, “Romney Campaigns in SC with Sen. DeMint,” The Associated Press, 1/29/07)
  • February 2007: Mitt Romney stated that he “was always for life.”On another campaign stop in South Carolina, Romney stated: “I am firmly pro-life… I was always for life.” (Jim Davenport, “Romney Affirms Opposition to Abortion,” The Associated Press, 2/9/2007)

Other Romney oddities and FLIPS:

Campaign finance reform

Illegal Immigration

Illegal aliens mowing his lawn

Flip on Gay Marriage

Lied about hunting

Scientology book one of his favorites

Is Mitt Romney REALLY the one to trust with the Presidency?

Mitt Romney is WRONG FOR THE GOP AND WRONG FOR AMERICA.

0 John Kerry Watch: Spewing the Red Line

What a surprise?

Senator John Kerry has been caught spewing the “RED” line.

During the Vietnam War we spread vitriolic stories around the world, pretending that America’s presidents sent Genghis Khan-style barbarian soldiers to Vietnam who raped at random, taped electrical wires to human genitals, cut off limbs, blew up bodies and razed entire villages. Those weren’t facts. They were our tales, but some seven million Americans ended up being convinced their own president, not communism, was the enemy. As Yuri Andropov, who conceived this dezinformatsiya war against the U.S., used to tell me, people are more willing to believe smut than holiness.

And the result?

The final goal of our anti-American offensive was to discourage the U.S. from protecting the world against communist terrorism and expansion. Sadly, we succeeded. After U.S. forces precipitously pulled out of Vietnam, the victorious communists massacred some two million people in Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia. Another million tried to escape, but many died in the attempt. This tragedy also created a credibility gap between America and the rest of the world, damaged the cohesion of American foreign policy, and poisoned domestic debate in the U.S.

This was written before, but did anyone notice?

And to think this MORON might have been elected to the Presidency.

With the resurgence of the “REDS” in Russia might one think that today’s anti-Bush hysteria (BDS) is perhaps inspired by the same folks in the Kremlin?

Count on it.
