Convicted murderer and former Charles Manson family member, Susan Atkins (C), lies on a moveable bed beside her husband and attorney James Whitehouse (R) as she recites the 23rd Psalm as her statement during her parole hearing at the Central California Women’s Facility in Chowchilla, California September 2, 2009. Atkins was again denied parole, remaining the longest-incarcerated female inmate in the California penal system

Charles Manosn follower and murderer Susan Atkins was again denied parole.
Susan Atkins, the terminally ill Charles Manson follower who admitted stabbing actress Sharon Tate 40 years ago, lost what was likely to be her last bid for freedom Wednesday.

Atkins, who suffers from brain cancer, slept through most of the four-hour hearing during which her husband-lawyer pleaded for her release and families of victims of the Sharon Tate-Labianca killings urged that she be kept behind bars until she dies.

In a dramatic moment — one of the few in which Atkins opened her eyes — Atkins’ husband, James Whitehouse, led her through a recitation of the 23rd Psalm, with Atkins concluding in a strong voice, “My God is an amazing God.”

Debra Tate, sister of the actress who was 8 1/2 months pregnant when she was killed, told the parole commissioners that she would have a 40-year-old nephew if her sister had lived. She said of Atkins, “I will pray for her soul when she draws her last breath, but until then I think she should remain in this controlled situation.”

Another of the speakers was Anthony DiMaria, a nephew of the slain Jay Sebring, who said that the trips to the parole hearing for his family members “send us back to hell year after year.”

“I’m not here for Susan Atkins,” he said. “I’m here for Jay Sebring. The only hatred I feel is for the crime.”

DiMaria reacted angrily to a suggestion by Whitehouse that the commissioners should consider the cost to the state of housing Atkins at a time when she requires constant medical care. Whitehouse said it was costing $17,000 a month for her care.

“We are not here to balance the state budget,” DiMaria said. “We are here because Susan Atkins sent nine people to their death.”

Justice again was served. Susan Atkins SHOULD serve the rest of her life in prison.

Just as a reminder as to what SHE did:

Remember Susan Atkins famously told a sobbing and begging Sharon Tate prior to her murder and mutilation, “Look bitch, I have no mercy for you.”

As Flap said before, Susan Atkins should remain incarcerated for the rest of her natural life. Atkins should have been executed forty years ago.

Look BITCH, the people of California have NO MERCY for you.

Here is video from a local Los Angeles news outlet on the parole hearing:

  1. Ginger says:

Susan is where she belongs, in prison. Her illness or time served doesn’t negate the facts of her crimes.

  2. Melinda says:

It’s amazing to me that these people have the nerve to ask for parole. They were sentenced to death and were spared. If they believe in God, they should thank him for the life they’ve been given, after their horrible crimes, serve their life sentences, reflect on what they’ve done, and wait for a natural death. The fact that the families of these victims have to go through these parole hearings over and over again is appalling. Every one of these animals took part in these horrible crimes – do the time. It’s that simple.

  3. Ron says:

Susan only had 4-6 months tops to live over a year ago, yet, she is still alive.

Susan has demanded parole hearings putting the victims through 40 years of HELL by having to re-count the horrid time.

Susan could have elected to committ suicide years ago to save society money that could have gone to starving children. Susan has elected to have that money spent on her incarcination rather than on starving children.

    Susan only cares about Susan….

  4. Flap says:

Susan…………Silly you….Look at you rotting away on that prison hospital bed. We’ll always remember Sharon Tate as this beautiful young woman. Now, we’ll always remember you all bloated up with your brain slowly turning into a rock. Rot in Hell Susan.

  5. Melinda says:

You know, I was discussing this with a friend last night who raised an interesting question. Why is the State of California spending resources to prolong Atkins’ life? Why not just provide palliative care (relieve pain) until she dies? I don’t understand the argument that she’s costing CA huge amounts of money due to her illness. Give her morphine until she’s gone.

  6. Johnny G says:

So there we have it…Susan Atkins denied parole yet again! The people who make these decisions need to be ashamed and take a good look at themselves. The pictures of Susan in what is practically her deathbed make for grim viewing and confirms this as a disgraceful result. What exact “danger” to society does she pose? When will you Americans ever wise up and catch a grip of yourselves?!!!

  7. Ron says:

No danger presented by Susan Jonny. What is happening is a thing call PAYBACK.

Why does Susan not ask for the “pill” to expidite things?

  8. Ron says:

My oh My, lookie at what I found:

    http://www.mansonfamilytoday.info/atkins-biography.htm

I lost all respect for Susan. I am so glad that BITCH was not released!

  9. MARLA says:

Hey Johnny G, why don’t you do the “right” thing and put your money where your mouth is? Take Susan into your house and care for her slowly rotting body?? She’s no danger to society as you said AND obviously you aren’t too concerned with that little thing called JUSTICE.

  10. MARLA says:

Hey Johnny G —- I believe I can speak for millions of Americans when I say, “KISS MY AMERICAN ASS”.

  11. Rob D says:

Frankly, who gives a fuck, I think more people should be killing each other, it would help get rid of the human scum.

  12. Ron says:

    Hey Susan Atkins:

Time is running out, the clock is ticking and soon you will be facing your judgement.

Do you wake up with a cold sweat? Do you hear the baby crying in the distance? Is the crying getting ever slightly lourder with each passing night as you get closer to your time?

Oh Susan, what awaits you is not pretty. Why did you have to put the victims through more HELL with the parole hearings?

Time is closing in Susan. The other side is just dying to have you.

  13. Ron says:

    Susan Atkins:

I just watch segments 2 and 3 (3 shown here):

    http://video.search.yahoo.com/video/play?p=susan+atkins+parole+hearing+&n=21&ei=utf-8&js=1&fr2=tab-news&tnr=21&vid=0001529835597

The victims asking why WHY do you continue to put them through HELL with parole hearings.

Susan, I can honestly tell you that the other side is really wanting to meet you – they can’t wait Susan to get their claws around your soul.

Oh Susan, you un-repentful piece of shinola.

  14. Johnny G says:

Ron…these are the comments of someone with a very warped and crazed mind. Someone with the potential to be every bit as evil as the person ur trying to belittle. Weirdo.

California and the whole USA wake up and smell the coffee…she should be free. End of rant.

  15. Ron says:

    Johnny, no.

The monster inside people such as Susan Atkins warrants US to make sure that we fully keep such animals like Susan in check.

I actually thought Susan had repented until I saw the links above of Susan parole hearings in which she has never oplogized to the victims and continues to inflict pain on the victms with her demands of parole hearings.

Then there is the subject of the afterlife. Susan Atkins will soon be faced with the baby she killed in cold blood – the baby dying inside her mother lifeless body as the baby struggle for life. A living inocent baby Susan slowly killed.

What a beautifully morbid and amazing setup is currently being prepared specifically tailored for Susan Atkins upon her death. Susan is getting closer to death and as she inches forward towards her final days, the other side is making itself know to her more and more.

Hey Susan, do you wake up at night with cold sweats feeling that things are all around you but you cannot see them? Do you feel like each passing night the number increase more and more?

  16. Johnny G says:

Ron…you should seriously consider checking in to a mental ward. You’re a danger to society and I’m glad you’re not my neighbour. Charles Manson would have been in his element had you been around when he was recruiting. The thought behind your comments require the mind of a crazy person!

Show of hands from all who agree plz…

  17. Ron says:

    The truth hurts Johnny?

What part of the horrible act that Susan performed did you missed?

Hey Susan: The nights are getting shorter as you inch towards your final days and will soon face your sins head-on. What awaits you Susan is not pretty. All those parole hearings in which you cause pain to the victims by making them re-live that horrid time will soon be opon your table Susan for you to payback.

What a beautiful and glorius payback this is going to be!

  18. David says:

I’m just outraged that the Manson and his accomplices didn’t get the death penalty which I know they had back then. Even though they committed 7 vicious murders.
