Stanley “Tookie” Williams Executed: The Austrian Retribution

Liebherr Grazer AK – Schwarzenegger Stadion – The ground is named after its most famous son. The Schwarzenegger stadium is the home of both Grazer AK and Sturm Graz. The Stadium, which has a capacity of 15,400, cost €20.5 million, and opened on July 9, 1997.

The Sydney Morning Herald has Arnie’s terminated

The Arnold Schwarzenegger Football Stadium in Austria’s second-largest city Graz is to be renamed as a sign of displeasure with the city’s most famous son,.

A majority of members on Graz City Council voted to rename the stadium after the Austrian-born governor of California approved the execution of Stanley “Tookie” Williams, according to newspaper Kleine Zeitung.

The Terminator-turned-governor was born six kilometres outside Graz in the community of Thal.

“It’s getting on our nerves that we’re again and again being criticised for Schwarzenegger’s actions in California,” said SP Vice Mayor Welter Ferk.

By not stopping the execution of condemned killer Stanley ‘Tookie’ Williams, celebrity governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, pcitured, avoided putting a nail in his own political coffin, academics said.

California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger made the RIGHT call.

This “retribution” is a small price to pay for the execution of such a renown and sadistic murderer as Stanley Tookie Williams.

Illegal Immigration Watch: Mexico’s Fox – US-Mexico Border Wall Would be ‘Disgraceful’

Three layers of fences separate the U.S. and Mexico (R) along the border in San Diego December 9, 2005. Mexican President Vicente Fox denounced as ‘disgraceful and shameful’ on Wednesday a proposal to build a high-tech wall on the border to stop illegal immigrants.

Reuters has US-Mexico border wall would be ‘disgraceful’: Fox

Mexican President Vicente Fox denounced as “disgraceful and shameful” on Wednesday a proposal to build a high-tech wall on the U.S.-Mexico border to stop illegal immigrants.

Concerned about the huge numbers of illegal immigrants streaming across the border and worried it could be an entry point for terrorists, a U.S. lawmaker has proposed building two parallel steel and wire fences running from the Gulf of Mexico to the Pacific Coast. But Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff has said a wall running the length of a border would cost too much.

Mexico has expressed indignation at the idea.

Fox, speaking in Tamaulipas state across the border from Texas, said such extreme security measures would violate immigrants’ rights.

“The disgraceful and shameful construction of walls, the increasing enforcement of security systems and increasing violation of human rights and labor rights will not protect the economy of the United States,” he said.

What is disgraceful are the millions of illegal Mexican nationals who have been allowed to sneak across the border for decades.

Alliance for a Better California Watch: Whining to the California Chamber of Commerce

The Alliance for a Better California is whining again…….

This time to the California Chamber of Commerce.

    The letter is here:

    December 1, 2005
    Mr. Eugene J. Voiland, Chair
    California Chamber of Commerce
    1215 K Street,
    Suite 1400
    Sacramento, California 95814

    Dear Mr. Voiland:

We were recently forced to spend millions of dollars protecting California
schools, public safety and the working people of this state against a series
of initiatives conceived, written and promoted in large part with the active
endorsement and support of the California Chamber of Commerce. Your
president, in fact, was one of the most visible leaders in this effort.

Had the Chamber not participated, the voters of California would have been
spared this ordeal, which squandered valuable time and resources that should
have been used developing real solutions to the challenges of education,
infrastructure, public safety, housing, the economy and the state’s budget
    process.

Worse, your participation has fueled suspicion and mistrust between our two
sides at a time when we should be working together to meet the challenges
facing our state. Instead of helping to develop consensus, the Chamber’s
actions have driven us farther apart.

Proposition 75, in particular, was a clear declaration of war against labor
and our ability to participate in the political process — an attempt by some
in your community to punish workers and silence the voices of the millions
of working men and women we represent. It did not go unnoticed that the
Chamber publicly endorsed and actively campaigned for this ill-advised
    initiative.

Newspapers are now reporting that a similar anti-worker initiative is being
planned for the November ballot. This threatens to ignite an
ever-escalating war between us and poison business-labor relations in this
state for years to come. Clearly, fair play demands that any restrictions
imposed on the political rights of workers should also be applied equally to
your shareholders — a step we are fully prepared to take to ensure a level
    playing field.

We ask that you use your leadership as Chairman of the Board to reexamine
the Chamber’s current direction. Will the Chamber continue down this
hostile path, or will you alter course to rebuild trust and open a dialogue
that leads to genuine cooperation between our two sides?

Because decision-points are fast approaching, we look forward to your
    earliest reply.

So, the Governor made them spend a little money on Proposition 75 did he?

Flap suggests they stop blabbing and ready themselves for November 2006 for the SON of 75.

    Stay tuned……

Iraq War Watch: A Historic Day

Iraqi Sunni woman Ayisha shows her ink-stained finger after casting her vote in Amman, December 15, 2005.

Members of the Iraqi Electoral Commission assist a woman at a polling station in the Iraqi town of Fallujah Thursday Dec. 15, 2005. Despite continuing violence and intimidation in Iraq’s insurgent heartland, turnout for Thursday’s election in Fallujah, once the effective headquarters of the insurgency, is expected to be high.

    A historic day!

An Iraqi woman feeds her baby at a polling station in the town of Falluja December 15, 2005. A steady stream of Iraqi voters walked to polling sites nationwide to elect their first full-term parliament since Saddam Hussein’s overthrow, ignoring sporadic violence such as a mortar attack in Baghdad.

Jane Fonda Watch: United States Troops Trained to Commit Atrocities

Newsmax has Jane Fonda: U.S. Troops Are ‘Killing Machines’

Hanoi Jane” Fonda is claiming that ever since Vietnam, U.S. troops have been trained to commit atrocities against innocent civilians as a matter of military policy.

“Starting with the Vietnam War we began training soldiers differently,” the anti-American actress says in an email to the Washington Post.

Fonda claims she learned of the policy switch in “secret meetings” she had with military psychologists “who were really worried about what was happening to our combat personnel.”

One doctor, she insists, told her U.S. troops had been deliberately trained to be “killing machines.”

“This began,” Fonda maintained, “because the military discovered that in World War II and Korea, [U.S.] soldiers weren’t killing enough.”

“So they changed training procedures” to teach troops how to commit atrocities.

Sounds like Hanoi Jane and John Kerry have been comparing notes again – an anti-war rally.

    Oops…… they have already done that…….haven’t they…..

Still, the anti-war gadfly cautions, it’s important not to blame the soldiers themselves for carrying out war crimes.

Recalling the “Winter Soldier” hearings that she and John Kerry staged in 1971, Fonda lamented: “When you put young people into an atrocity-producing situation where enemy and civilian are commingled, where the ‘other side’ is dehumanized, we cannot be surprised.”

Anti-war vets now returning from Iraq, Fonda cautioned, should be listened to instead of being dismissed as “unpatriotic.”

    Down ol’ memory lane……

MIchelle Malkin has BAGHDAD JANE’S BLOVIATIONS

    Jane, meet Jimmy Massey.

Reader Stephen R. e-mails: “I’d rather see Jane meet Betty Dawisha.”

Oh, and go read National Guardsman Charlie Munn’s reply to an aging hippie who heckled him at a Hardee’s.

    Ditto that.

    ***

McQ and Q and O hears echoes of the past:

Actually the training didn’t at all change, the lethality of warfare changed. Another thing which changed was we went from a draft military to a professional and volunteer military. What that means is those who volunteer for specific duties rather than being drafted are more likely to do what those duties call for them to do. But Fonda would prefer you to believe that we purposely dehumanize our enemies and thus our military kills indiscriminately and commits atrocities as a matter of course. This is the same charge Kerry made in front of the Senate during Vietnam.

We have the rerelease of the movie “Winter Soldier” film (a fraud held in the early ’70s we’ve discussed here), we have the reemergence of “Hanoi Jane”, can Fonda’s FTA organization be far behind?
