Mitt Romney – “An Ineffective Candidate”

Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney pauses during a speech before the Conservative Political Action Conference, Thursday, Feb. 7, 2008, in Washington, where he announced he was suspending his faltering presidential campaign.

Take the quote with a grain of salt because it comes from Barack Obama but the truth is Mitt Romney would have NEVER been able to win a general election race against Obama or Hillary.

    Flap,

Howard Fineman has a scathing summary on why Romney failed which I’m sure you will link tomorrow. In short, Fineman concludes that the man is a phony ( and implies that he is also a cut-throat SOB ).

You are correct in stating that Romney could never win a general election. However, I also have my doubts about McCain. This November could be as bad for republicans as I can remember.

I continue to think that Rudy or McCain would be the only GOP candidates that could give the Dems a run for the White House.

George W Bush’s legacy is a Democrat congress and a Dem White House.

Read my next post and let me know what you think McCain should do…..
