Video: Bill Ayer’s Claim He Wrote Obama’s Book: Dreams of My Father

Bill Ayers claims he wrote Barack Obama’s Autobiography Dreams of My Father. He said this in front of over 100 people at a Students for a Democratic Soctiety (SDS) event on March 24, 2011 at Montclair State University in New Jersey.

A shot across President Obama’s bow?

Unprompted, Ayers also noted that while Dreams deserves its praise, Obama’s second opus, Audacity of Hope, is “more of a political hack book.”

Not surprisingly, Ayers retreated into irony as he ended the session. “Yeah, yeah,” he said after confirming again that he wrote Dreams, “And if you help me prove it, I’ll split the royalties with you. Thank you very much.”

With his final comment, the Ayers-friendly audience laughed in relief.  The media will laugh nervously upon seeing the video as well.  The White House will not.

Barack Obama knows what I know and what the people who have read my book, “Deconstructing Obama,” know: Bill Ayers is the principal craftsman behind Dreams.  The evidence is overwhelming.

Ayers also established, as I have contended from the beginning, that he is not the author of Audacity of Hope.  Although Obama claims unique authorship of this book too, it was, as Ayers suggests, a disingenuous feint to the center written by committee.

Worse for Obama still, Ayers knows that the story he and Obama contrived in Dreams is false in many key details.  The fact that Donald Trump has proved willing to challenge that story has got to make the White House even more apprehensive.

Yeah, probably – just a reminder to Obama that the Far, Radical LEFT are always watching.

Day By Day January 11, 2011 – Progressive Idol

Day By Day by Chris Muir

Chris, it really shocks me that the Progressive LEFT would be blaming Sarah Palin, Rush Limbaugh, and violent rhetoric from the RIGHT for the heinous actions of Jared Loughner.

    Well, not really.

When President Obama travels to Tucson tomorrow will he mention inflammatory political rhetoric?

Amy Chozick reports on the presidential race from Philadelphia.

Mobster wisdom tells us never to bring a knife to a gun fight. But what does political wisdom say about bringing a gun to a knife fight?

That’s exactly what Barack Obama said he would do to counter Republican attacks “If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun,” Obama said at a Philadelphia fundraiser Friday night. “Because from what I understand folks in Philly like a good brawl. I’ve seen Eagles fans.”

My bet is that he doesn’t.

Then, there are the issues of his terrorist friends and political mentors William Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn.

Day By Day November 18, 2009 – It’s Who You Know Who Blows

Day By Day by Chris Muir

The idea of a capital trial for Khalid Sheikh Mohammed of Al Qaeda and 9/11 infamy is pure folly. Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani said it best about the flap:

Returning some of the Guantanamo detainees to New York City for trial, specifically Khalid Shaikh Mohammed, has now brought us full circle — we have regressed to a pre-9/11 mentality with respect to Islamic extremist terrorism. Khalid Shaikh Mohammed should be treated like the war criminal he is and tried in a military court. He is not just another murderer, or even a mass murderer. He murdered as part of a declared war against us — America.

This is the same mistake we made with the 1993 terrorists who attacked the World Trade Center. We treated them like domestic criminals, when in fact they were terrorists. In the dangerous world we live in today, a nation unable to identify and properly define its enemies is a nation in danger.

Chris, I don’t think that even Chicago would want the trial or subsequent incarceration of these war criminals. But, a jury of Al Qaeda’s peers is a little harsh – unless you mean President Obama’s former pastor Jeremiah Wright and domestic terrorists William Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn.

    Maybe you have a point…….

John McCain Watch: Obama – Not Being Honest With the American People

The latest McCain TV Ad: “Ambition”

John McCain today in Wisconsin remarks continues to attack Barack Obama on his honesty.

This is the agenda I have set before my fellow citizens. And the same standards of clarity and candor must now be applied to my opponent. We have all heard what he has said, but it is less clear what he has done or what he will do.

Rather than answer his critics, Senator Obama will try to distract you from noticing that he never answers the serious and legitimate questions he has been asked. He has even questioned my truthfulness. And let me reply in the plainest terms I know. I don’t need lessons about telling the truth to American people. And were I ever to need any improvement in that regard, I probably wouldn’t seek advice from a Chicago politician.

    The Script for “Ambition:”

    ANNCR: Obama’s blind ambition.

When convenient, he worked with terrorist Bill Ayers.

    When discovered, he lied.

    Obama. Blind ambition. Bad judgment.

Congressional liberals fought for risky sub-prime loans.

Congressional liberals fought against more regulation.

Then, the housing market collapsed costing you billions.

In crisis, we need leadership, not bad judgment.

JOHN MCCAIN: I’m John McCain and I approve this message.

Team McCain is sticking to the attacks of Obama and pounding the Ayers theme while beginning to pressure Obama on the economic front, particularly the details of Obama’s economic recovery plan. The American people will have to decide within a few weeks whether they can trust Obama.

Ultimately, the trust issue will decide the Presidential race.

Barack Obama Watch: The Chicago Way and Shady Politics

A new Republican National Committee Independent Expenditure Ad hits Barack Obama on his “CHICAGO” political connetctions: Tony Rezko, William Daley and William Ayers.

    The Script:

ANNCR:         The Chicago Way. Shady politics.

    That’s Barack Obama’s training.

    His teachers?

Tony Rezko convicted of corruption, money laundering, aiding and abetting bribery.

Rezko got Obama in on a shady land deal.

William Daley. Heir to the Chicago machine. A top Obama advisor.

And William Ayers. Leader of a terrorist group that bombed the US Capitol.

Obama’s first campaign was launched at a gathering at Mr. Ayers’s home.

There’s more you need to know.

The Republican National Committee is responsible for the content of this advertising.

John McCain and Sarah Palin need to pound the battleground states with this message and the Obama-Fannie Mae, Congressional Democrat subprime loan financial crisis.

All negative – all of the time NOW!

The next focus of attack – The Obama – ACORN connection

Barack Obama Was Ignorant of William Ayers’ Radical Bomber Past?

The Obama campaign’s new defense to the Senator’s questionable ties to domestic terrorist group Weather Underground and member Bill Ayers is that Obama was unaware of Ayer’s violent past, although Ayers was notorious in the Chicago political scene where Obama began his career.

Even Obama flak Ben Smith of Politico is having a hard time swallowing the latest Obama spin on radical bomber William Ayers.

Obama’s not that young. He started at Columbia University, for instance, in 1981, when their names were certainly in the New York tabloids, which haved always loved the story of upper-middle-class radical cop killers. Kathy Boudin’s role in a botched, fatal 1981 Brinks roberry was huge news. Bernardine Dohrn was imprisoned in 1982 for refusing to testify against fellow Weather Underground members. And Ayers’ past was hardly a secret in Chicago, where he was regularly quoted as an ex-radical and ex-fugitive.

Obama’s defense that he barely knew William Ayers and he did not know of his radical past is laughable. There WAS an association for many years.

    • From 1999 To 2002, Obama Served With Ayers On The Board Of Directors For Woods Fund Of Chicago. “[Ayers] served with [Obama] from 1999 to 2002 on the board of the Woods Fund, an anti-poverty group.” (Timothy J. Burger, “Obamas Chicago Ties Might Fuel Republican Attack Machine,” Bloomberg, 2/15/08)
    • In 1995, During Obama’s First State Senate Campaign, William Ayers And Wife Bernadine Dohrn Hosted A Meeting Of Chicago Liberals At Their Home For Obama, Which One Attendee Said Was Aimed At “Launching Him.”
    • From March Of 1995 Until September Of 1997, Obama And Ayers Attended At Least Seven Meetings Together Relating To The Chicago Annenberg Challenge. (Chicago Annenberg Challenge, Board Of Directors Meeting, Minutes Of The Board, 3/15/95, 3/31/95, 4/13/95, 6/5/95, 9/30/97; National Annenberg Challenge Evaluation Meeting, List Of Participants, 5/24/95; Chicago Annenberg Challenge, Chicago School Reform Collaborative Meeting, Minutes, 10/23/96)
    • In 1997, Obama Praised Ayers’ Book On The Juvenile Justice System. “The two men were involved in efforts to reform the city’s education system. They appeared together on academic panels, including one organized by Michelle Obama to discuss the juvenile justice system, an area of mutual concern. Mr. Ayers’s book on the subject won a rave review in The Chicago Tribune by Mr. Obama, who called it ‘a searing and timely account.'” (Jo Becker and Christopher Drew, “Pragmatic Politics, Forged On The South Side,” The New York Times, 5/11/08)
    • “[Obama And Ayers] Have Also Appeared Jointly On Two Academic Panels, One In 1997 And Another In 2001.” (Russell Berman, “Obama’s Ties To Left Come Under Scrutiny,” The New York Sun, 2/19/08)

Why is Obama resorting to outright LIES?

Michelle Obama, Barack Obama and William Ayers

Beyond the speeches, how much do you really know about Barack Obama? Learn about his connection to William Ayers.

The connection between Michelle Obama, Barack Obama and radical left-wing bomber William Ayers is not getting much play in the MSM, is it?

Children who kill are called “super predators,” “people with no conscience,” “feral pre-social beings” — and “adults.”

William Ayers, author of A Kind and Just Parent: The Children of Juvenile Court (Beacon Press, 1997), says “We should call a child a child. A 13-year-old who picks up a gun isn’t suddenly an adult. We have to ask other questions: How did he get the gun? Where did it come from?”

Ayers, who spent a year observing the Cook County Temporary Juvenile Detention Center in Chicago, is one of four panelists who will speak on juvenile justice at 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 20, in the C-Shop. The panel, which marks the 100th anniversary of the juvenile justice system in the United States, is part of the Community Service Center’s monthly discussion series on issues affecting the city of Chicago. The event is free and open to the public.

Ayers will be joined by Sen. Barack Obama, Senior Lecturer in the Law School, who is working to combat legislation that would put more juvenile offenders into the adult system; Randolph Stone, Director of the Mandel Legal Aid Clinic; Alex Correa, a reformed juvenile offender who spent seven years in Cook County Temporary Detention Center; Frank Tobin, a former priest and teacher at the Detention Center who helped Correa; and Willy Baldwin, who grew up in public housing and is currently a teacher at the Detention Center.

The juvenile justice system was founded by Chicago reformer Jane Addams, who advocated the establishment of a separate court system for children which would act like a “kind and just parent” for children in crisis.

One hundred years later, the system is “overcrowded, under-funded, over-centralized and racist,” Ayers said.

Michelle Obama, Associate Dean of Student Services and Director of the University Community Service Center, hopes bringing issues like this to campus will open a dialogue between members of the University community and the broader community.

“Students and faculty explore these issues in the classroom, but it is an internal conversation,” Obama said. “We know that issues like juvenile justice impact the city of Chicago, this nation and — directly or indirectly — this campus. This panel gives students a chance to hear about the juvenile justice system not only on a theoretical level, but from the people who have experienced it.”

Chicago Mayor Richard M.Daily puts the association this way: “THEY’RE FRIENDS. SO WHAT?

    Oh really?

With the way Obama has been backpeddling over the weekend it is as if Obama barely knew him.

Listen to Obama Chief Strategist, David Axelrod this morning – Ignorance is bliss, no?

    Now, who is lying, Barack?

    Update:

Team Obama is getting defensive and their defense certainly looks WEAK.

Sarah Palin Watch: Putting Jeremiah Wright in Play?

    wrignt and obama

Glenn McCoy on Reverend Jeremiah Wright

The Presidential campaign is coming home to roost and Sarah Palin wants to put Barack Obama’s former spiritual advisor, Jeremiah Wright, “in play.”

Palin also made clear that she was eager for the McCain-Palin campaign to be more aggressive in helping the American people understand “who the real Barack Obama is.” Part of who Obama is, she said, has to do with his past associations, such as with the former bomber Bill Ayers. Palin had raised the topic of Ayers Saturday on the campaign trail, and she maintained to me that Obama, who’s minimized his relationship with Ayers, “hasn’t been wholly truthful” about this.

I pointed out that Obama surely had a closer connection to the Rev. Jeremiah Wright than to Ayers — and so, I asked, if Ayers is a legitimate issue, what about Reverend Wright?

She didn’t hesitate: “To tell you the truth, Bill, I don’t know why that association isn’t discussed more, because those were appalling things that that pastor had said about our great country, and to have sat in the pews for 20 years and listened to that — with, I don’t know, a sense of condoning it, I guess, because he didn’t get up and leave — to me, that does say something about character. But, you know, I guess that would be a John McCain call on whether he wants to bring that up.”

Team McCain must attack Barack Obama on all fronts including Jeremiah Wright and why Obama sat in those pews all of those years wile saying NOTHING.

Unleash Palin to attack the Obama-Wright-Ayers connection and McCain should attack Obama on Fannie Mae, Jim Johnson and Franklin Raines.

    Stay tuned……

Note to Steve Schmidt and Rick Davis: It IS The Economy Stupid

National Republican Congressional Committee Ad: What Just Happened? on the financial meltdown caused by the collapse of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac

Memo to Team McCain, including Steve Schmidt and Rick Davis entitled: IT IS THE ECONOMY STUPID.

Why do you think Barack Obama has risen in the polls and John McCain has cratered? The economy, stupid.

And, what caused the financial markets collapse, the bailout and the credit market meltdown?

Answer: Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac and the lack regulation of them both.

So, listen to Flap and Jim Geraghty.

But I cannot emphasize enough how much the Campaign Spot’s readership is yearning for the Republican nominee to lay out the various ways that Democrats on Capitol Hill aided and abetted the mismanagement and risky gambles at Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. Atrocious management at Fannie and Freddie isn’t the sole reason for our financial mess, but it’s a big one. And there were certain voices in Congress, generally on the right, who saw it as risky, and a lot of loud voices on the Hill, generally on the left, insisting that nothing was wrong.

The RNC web ad is a pretty good start, but how many will see it? (About 155,000 so far, in an electorate that will be measured in the tens of millions, probably considerably more than 2004’s 122 million.) Can the 1:30 version be cut down and put on television? Why can’t John McCain and Sarah Palin make the points about the how the crisis was built illustrated in the “Burning Down the House” (with the revised music) YouTube video? Could McCain please, please bring up some of this in Tuesday’s debate?

Forget about William Ayers and domestic terrorism and concentrate on the economy in key battleground states. This is what America voters care about not some left-wing unrepentive lunatic who once tried to bomb police stations and the United States Capitol.

    Run this ad:

    Ad from RightChange.com

    Or modify this ad:

This video is an informative look at the factors that are causing our current financial and economic crisis. It discusses policy changes 13 years ago that unleashed the sub-prime mortgage-backed securities market, which accelerated prices erratically, inviting speculation and loose lending practices which were both condoned and encouraged by existing regulation and carried out by risk-blind executives and Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.

If Team McCain wants to win this race you must concentrate on the economy and focus the blame where it RIGHTLY belongs – not on George Bush or the GOP.

Steve and Rick, the American voters are blaming you for the financial morass and Barack Obama plus the Congressional Democrats are getting a free ride in electoral bliss. You fumbled suspending McCain’s campaign.

Don’t fumble Tuesday night’s debate. Forget about William Ayers and Jeremiah Wright. How about attacking Barney Frank who had a gay sexual relationship with a high ranking Fannie Mae Executive and the obvious conflicts of interest?

    It is the economy, stupid.
