Day By Day June 20, 2012 – Rear…View MSM Media

Day By Day by Chris Muir

MSNBC has disingenuously mischaracterized Mitt Romney’s statements. But, what else is new from a news outlet that is in the tank for the LEFT and the Democratic Party, including President Obama.

You can watch Romney’s full speech and read some of the stories about the FLAP here.

In the days of social media, NBC has NOT learned that they can no longer fool the American people with their biased view of the political world.

Update: Olbermann Responds – Keith Olbermann Fired by Current TV

+++++ Scroll down for the Update +++++

Not really surprising – Keith Olbermann is just too high maintenance.

Current TV has fired Keith Olbermann, a network spokeswoman told TheWrap.

The controversial news host has been at the fledgling cable channel for less than a year.

Eliot Spitzer will replace Olbermann starting Friday night, the network announced.

Olberman got into a contretemps with the network over his role during Republican primary election coverage last December. But the host has a history of butting heads with management and other bosses, starting with ESPN, including MSNBC and now with the leadership at Current.

In its move on Friday, Current was clearly fed up with its star newsman.

“Current was also founded on the values of respect, openness, collegiality, and loyalty to our viewers. Unfortunately these values are no longer reflected in our relationship with Keith Olbermann and we have ended it,” the network wrote in a letter to viewers published on its website.

    So long, Keith.

You really won’t be missed and I hope you have some savings/investments, since I think you are pretty much finished in television.

    Update:

    Keith Olbermann responds:

    My full statement:

I’d like to apologize to my viewers and my staff for the failure of Current TV.

Editorially, Countdown had never been better. But for more than a year I have been imploring Al Gore and Joel Hyatt to resolve our issues internally, while I’ve been not publicizing my complaints, and keeping the show alive for the sake of its loyal viewers and even more loyal staff. Nevertheless, Mr. Gore and Mr. Hyatt, instead of abiding by their promises and obligations and investing in a quality news program, finally thought it was more economical to try to get out of my contract.

It goes almost without saying that the claims against me implied in Current’s statement are untrue and will be proved so in the legal actions I will be filing against them presently. To understand Mr. Hyatt’s “values of respect, openness, collegiality and loyalty,” I encourage you to read of a previous occasion Mr. Hyatt found himself in court for having unjustly fired an employee. That employee’s name was Clarence B. Cain. http://nyti.ms/HueZsa

In due course, the truth of the ethics of Mr. Gore and Mr. Hyatt will come out. For now, it is important only to again acknowledge that joining them was a sincere and well-intentioned gesture on my part, but in retrospect a foolish one. That lack of judgment is mine and mine alone, and I apologize again for it.

Good luck, Keith, with that next job.

    Day By Day March 15, 2012 – Drive-By Theater

Day By Day by Chris Muir

Chris, projection is correct, especially when the RIGHT exposes the HYPOCRISY of the LEFT.

Have you seen the latest in this regard – re: Bill Maher Vs. Rush Limbaugh Vs. Sandra Fluke?

Bill Maher, who has attracted fresh criticism for past comments about Sarah Palin in the aftermath of Rush Limbaugh calling a law student a “slut,” said in an interview that comparing his use of the “c word” to the radio host’s controversial remarks is “ridiculous.”

“To compare that to Rush is ridiculous – he went after a civilian about very specific behavior, that was a lie, speaking for a party that has systematically gone after women’s rights all year, on the public airwaves,” Maher told Jake Tapper of ABC News. “I used a rude word about a public figure who gives as good as she gets, who’s called people ‘terrorist’ and ‘unAmerican.’ Sarah Barracuda.”

Maher added, “The First Amendment was specifically designed for citizens to insult politicians. Libel laws were written to protect law students speaking out on political issues from getting called whores by Oxycontin addicts.”

    There you go…

Traitor Jane Fonda Wants Rush Limbaugh Kicked Off the Radio – Really?

Jane Fonda cavorting with North Vietnamese Troops (sitting on an anti-aircraft gun)

Jane, Robin Morgan, and Gloria Steinem are the Co-Founders of the Women’s Media Center and they penned this piece regarding Rush-Fluke flap.

The FCC takes such complaints into consideration when stations file for license renewal. For local listeners near a station that carries Limbaugh’s show, there is plenty of evidence to bring to the FCC that their station isn’t carrying out its public interest obligation. Complaints can be registered under the broadcast category of the FCC website: http://www.fcc.gov/complaints

This isn’t political. While we disagree with Limbaugh’s politics, what’s at stake is the fallout of a society tolerating toxic, hate-inciting speech. For 20 years, Limbaugh has hidden behind the First Amendment, or else claimed he’s really “doing humor” or “entertainment.” He is indeed constitutionally entitled to his opinions, but he is not constitutionally entitled to the people’s airways.

It’s time for the public to take back our broadcast resources. Limbaugh has had decades to fix his show. Now it’s up to us.

Fonda is a traitor and aided and abetted America’s enemies.

    Go away….

Dan Riehl over at Breitbart.com has some information on some of the comments attributed to Limbaugh and more on Fonda.

Gloria Allred Loses Her Mind – Wants Rush Limbaugh Prosecuted

Gloria what pray tell, do you want Rush Limbaugh prosecuted for again?

Rush Limbaugh has drawn the ire of celebrity lawyer Gloria Allred, who sent a letter to the Palm Beach County state attorney requesting an investigation into whether the popular radio host should be prosecuted for calling a law student a “slut” and “prostitute” last week.

“Mr. Limbaugh targeted his attack on a young law student who was simply exercised her free speech and her right to testify before congress on a very important issue to millions of American women and he vilified her. He defamed her and engaged in unwarranted, tasteless and exceptionally damaging attacks on her,” Allred told POLITICO Friday afternoon. “He needs to face the consequences of his conduct in every way that is meaningful.”

In a letter dated March 8, Allred, writing on behalf of the Women’s Equal Rights Legal Defense and Education Fund, requested that Palm Beach County State Attorney Michael McAuliffe probe whether the conservative radio personality had violated Section 836.04 of the Florida Statutes by calling Georgetown University law student Sandra Fluke the two derogatory words.

The statute stipulates that anyone who “speaks of and concerning any woman, married or unmarried, falsely and maliciously imputing to her a want of chastity” is guilty of a misdemeanor of the first degree. Allred explained that the statute recently came to her attention as having never been repealed, and that it could very well apply to Limbaugh’s remarks as his show is broadcast from West Palm Beach.

It is now entirely up to the prosecutor to exercise his discretion on whether there will be a prosecution. McAuliffe did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

    Oh now, I understand.

    Media whoring again…

Day By Day March 9, 2012 – Rush

Day By Day by Chris Muir

The hypocritical LEFT will regret going after Rush Limbaugh with their secondary, targeted boycott.

For one, the LEFT uses name calling and Alinsky demeaning tactics far more than the RIGHT.

And, the RIGHT will now be empowered to show the hypocrisy over and over again. A little daylight works wonders. Right, Bill Maher and Ed Shultz?

The Rush Limbaugh take down will fail as well.

The LEFT media always has the Sarah Palin bashing Game Change premiering on HBO this weekend. Talk about misogyny.

Day By Day March 8, 2012 – Material Women

Day By Day by Chris Muir

The entire Limbaugh – Fluke Flap may indeed come back and bite the President and Democrats in Congress in the ass.

Rush Limbaugh may lose some talk show radio sponsors and may gain others. Financially, Rush and the Premiere Radio Network will be fine.

However, American voters are now wondering why the Obama Administration is at war with the Catholic Church and may even ask what is in the ObamaCare Law (passed in the Congress with not one Republican vote) which has not fully taken effect.

The RIGHT will also be energized to “daylight” the hypocritical LEFT, like media personalities Bill Maher and Ed Shultz, and their propensity towards misogynist comments towards conservative women, like Sarah Palin and Laura Ingraham.

President Obama has had a problem in the past with independent women voters. The White House maybe wishes the genie did not come out of this Rush Limbaugh bottle.
