Fancy that…Barack Obama has FINALLY asked his donors to help Hillary and Bill Clinton retire their “personal” campaign debt to election consultants and vendors.

ABC News has learned that on a conference call with his national finance team this afternoon, Sen. Barack Obama, D-Illinois, asked his top contributors to help Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-NY, retire her more than $10 million in outstanding vendor debt. He did not specify an amount.

Next, Bill Clinton says he will do whatever he can to help Obama become President. But, he said it through a spokesman.

Former President Clinton said through a spokesman Tuesday that he is committed to helping Barack Obama become president, his first comments in support of his wife’s former rival since their primary ended three weeks ago.

“President Clinton is obviously committed to doing whatever he can and is asked to do to ensure Senator Obama is the next president of the United States,” McKenna said.

It’s not clear what Obama might ask him to do. The campaign wasn’t specific when asked.

Flap supposes the final “DEAL” on the $10 million that the Clinton’s personally owe to consultants and vendors has NOT been consummated. When it is, then Bill MAY change his tune if Obama EVEN wants his support.

Obama NEEDS Hillary and her women supporters and it has cost him some big bucks from his donors.

Didn’t Flap say it was all about the money?

Flap wrote earlier today that it was nearing the end of the road for Hillary Clinton’s campaign for President.

Looks like Hillary will throw in the towel after the votes are counted tomorrow.

Has she been able to weasel her way onto the ticket? Flap says doubtful but her campaign debts will be paid and she will be given a speech at the convention.

The stars are lining up for her withdrawal tomorrow night. Bill Clinton gave his nostalgic farewell earlier today.

Bill Clinton acknowledged Monday that today may be his last campaigning for his wife.

“I want to say also, that this may be the last day I’m ever involved in a campaign of this kind,” the former president said at a town hall at the Milbank Visitor Center.

“I thought I was out of politics, ’til Hillary decided to run,” he said. “But it has been, one of the greatest honors of my life to go around and campaign for her for president. “

Although Hillary’s aides say that tomorrow night’s post primary party and speech which will be in New York is not an occasion where Hillary plans to drop out of the race, the evidence is otherwise.

• Campaign staffers have been told to either attend tomorrow night’s speech in New York or go home after tomorrow’s primary election and await further instruction.

• The New York speech is her ONLY event planned for tomorrow.

• Staff has been told to gather up outstanding expense receipts by the end of the week in a sign that the campaign wants to get its financial affairs in order.

• Hillary Clinton’s “Fact Hub,” which purportedly to correct the record whenever the media or Sen. Barack Obama made assertions the Clinton campaign found wanting. No one has posted anything on Fact Hub since May 22.

• There was a meeting of uncommitted Senators today: “A lot of us just feel that the sooner this is sort of put to bed, the sooner we have a nominee, the better off everyone’s going to be,” said Sen. Tom Harkin of Iowa, one of the participants.

• A plan B disrespecting Hillary Clinton has been planned by party leaders: Officials said that if Obama failed to gain 2,118 delegates by Tuesday night, one possibility under discussion was for Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, Speaker Nancy Pelosi and West Virginia Gov. Joe Manchin, who is head of the Democratic Governors’ Association, to issue a statement on Wednesday urging superdelegates — members of Congress and other party leaders — to state their preferences as soon as possible.

• Obama claims he is close to winning the nomination: Obama stopped short of a flat prediction that he would be able to claim victory Tuesday night when the delegates were allocated after the day’s primaries. But he said, “It is my sense that between Tuesday and Wednesday we have a good chance of getting that number of delegates” needed for victory.

The heat has been turned up on the Clintons and Bill especially knows it is time to go – especially if the campaign debts and proper respects are paid. Their campaign donors are poised to switch over to Obama and when suitable details are consummated it will be leaked to Drudge.
