Cindy Sheehan, today:
I am sorry, but if you believe the newest death of OBL, you’re stupid. Just think to yourself–they paraded Saddam’s dead sons around to prove they were dead–why do you suppose they hastily buried this version of OBL at sea? This lying, murderous Empire can only exist with your brainwashed consent–just put your flags away and THINK!
I have a hard time bearing much ill will toward Sheehan, no matter how nonsensical or inane her utterances get; who knows what the depths of grief can do to a parent’s mind? The widespread politicization of the grief, and the notion of the worst event in your life suddenly turning you into a celebrity with admirers, probably spurs one to react in strange ways.
But the degree to which the “anti-war” crowd — who today applaud war kinetic military action against Libya without congressional approval, and who are today applauding unilateral military action on foreign soil without the host government’s knowledge or consent or U.N. approval — exploited Ms. Sheehan remains unforgivably appalling.
Sorry, but I am not so forgiving. Cindy Sheehan is a deranged moron who should be REBUKED like the NUTTER she is. But……
A Bin Laden death denier or a DEATHER indeed.
You do have to feel sorry, at some level, for Sheehan. Last night I met a military dad who felt that bin Laden’s death meant that his late son, who’d fought in Iraq, had died for something. Sheehan may never have closure or satisfaction.
Anti-War Activist Cindy Sheehan, August 27, 2009
Let’s see how much press play this gets from the pro-Obama press corps, especially NBC.
After spending weeks dogging George W. Bush’s presidential vacations, anti-war protester Cindy Sheehan is now trying to make life uncomfortable for President Barack Obama.
Sheehan used to pitch a peace camp near Bush’s ranch in Crawford, Texas, becoming a symbol of the anti-war movement after her son Casey died in action in Iraq.
On Thursday, she and a band of anti-war protesters turned up outside the media center used by journalists covering Obama’s vacation on the well-heeled east coast resort island of Martha’s Vineyard.
“The reason I am here is because … even though the facade has changed in Washington DC, the policies are still the same,” Sheehan told a handful of journalists, against a backdrop of her “Camp Casey” banner.
She told US peace activists to wake up and protest Obama’s escalation of the war in Afghanistan, and complained that despite the president’s anti-war stance, US troops remained in Iraq.
“We have to realize, it is not the president who is power, it is not the party that is in power it is the system that stays the same, no matter who is in charge.”
“We are here to make the wars unpopular again,” she said.
My bet is little.
Not that her protests mean anything anyway – which they didn’t with President Bush.
Exit question: Will President Obama come out and meet with Cindy Sheehan?

Does anyone, especially the left-wing MSM care?
This morning the anti-war activist Cindy Sheehan — the woman who spent so much time leading well-publicized protests outside President Bush’s ranch in Crawford, Texas — announced that she will demonstrate next week at Martha’s Vineyard, where President Obama will be vacationing. “There are several things that we wish to accomplish with this protest on Martha’s Vineyard,” Sheehan said in a statement:…..
No, the LEFT and the MSM bashed Bush ad nauseum and now it is “The One” who is left to clean up the mess.
Well, that is what they will write or just try to ignore the escalating war in Afghanistan.
Cindy Sheehan for California Congress AdAnti-Iraq War activist and left wing whack job, Cindy Sheehan is coming to Ventura County to hype her independent run for Congress against San Francisco Democrat and Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi.
Cindy Sheehan is up next for Mary Pallant’s Ventura County Speaker Series. Please join me for this rare opportunity to hear from one of the most courageous women of our troubling times. Cindy has been speaking out against the unjust Iraq occupation, fighting to restore our rights, and continues to work on ending the worst political debacle in the history of our nation, the Iraq War. Her book, “Peace Mom: A Mother’s Journey Through Heartache to Activism” will be available for purchase and signing. I am continually amazed at her heroics and tireless efforts. We will hold a small event after the talk to help Cindy raise money for her campaign. A separate $25.00 donation to her campaign is suggested for this private event. Don’t miss this extraordinary woman and the ensuing discussion of “can one person make a difference?” See you then! Mary Pallant

Mary Pallant is a far left insurance agent who ran for Congress in the California June Democrat primary election (CA-24). Pallant who was endorsed by every lefty activist in Ventura County and the NUTROOTS finished a distant third to Marta Jorgensen who did not campaign the final two weeks in the south portion of the 24th Congressional District because reportedly she could not afford the gas money.
Pallant is touted by the left as the heir apparent Democrat candidate against incumbent GOP Congressman Elton Gallegly in two years after Jorgensen is dispatched this November.
Flap does not think associating with Cindy Sheehan who is running against the Democrat Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi will buy Pallant too much love in the Democrat mainstream party.
But, who knows?
Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi meets with anti-war activist Cindy Sheehan in the United States Capitol
Cindy will have to obtain over !0,000 plus signatures but that should not be a problem, now should it? Flap assumes that the Speaker will win the Democrat primary election in June.
Take that Speaker Pelosi.

Cindy Sheehan, MEDIA WHORE, makes her comeback on Saturday.
How’s the campaign against Democrat Speaker Nancy Pelosi going Cindy?
Carly Sheehan, daughter of peace activist Cindy Sheehan, center, listens during an A.N.S.W.E.R. Coalition news conference that her mother was speaking at, Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2007 at the National Press Club in Washington. Carly says she had her first civil disobedience arrest as she disrupted a House Armed Services Committee hearing on Iraq, with Gen. David Petraeus and U.S. Ambassador to Iraq Ryan Crocker testifying on Monday
Anti-war activist Cindy Sheehan cries as she remembers her son Casey. She has announced her official bid for House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s seat Californias 8th district.
Cindy Sheehan announced her intention to run for Congress against Democrat Nancy Pelosi in California’s 8th Congressional District yestereday. Pelosi is an 11 term incumbent and Speaker of the House.
Sheehan has NO CHANCE of winning in California’s heavily gerrymandered Congressional districts. She will run as an independent in the November 2008 general election.
Anyone want to bet she has trouble qualifying for the ballot?
Count on it…….

Conservative blogger Atlas Shrugs ran into Cindy Sheehan this past weekend. They look like the best of friends.
A lesson in moronic futility. But, Flap likes it…….
Peace activist Cindy Sheehan holds the deed to her land, “Camp Casey,” shortly before turning the deed over to Bree Walker in Crawford, Texas July 7, 2007.
Cindy Sheehan, the soldier’s mother who galvanized the anti-war movement, said Sunday that she plans to run against House Speaker Nancy Pelosi unless she introduces articles of impeachment against President Bush in the next two weeks.
Sheehan said she will run against the San Francisco Democrat in 2008 as an independent if Pelosi does not seek by July 23 to impeach Bush. That’s when Sheehan and her supporters are to arrive in Washington, D.C., after a 13-day caravan and walking tour starting next week from the group’s war protest site near Bush’s Crawford ranch.
“Democrats and Americans feel betrayed by the Democratic leadership,” Sheehan told The Associated Press. “We hired them to bring an end to the war. I’m not too far from San Francisco, so it wouldn’t be too big of a move for me. I would give her a run for her money.”
Cindy is back. She gave us an inkling a week ago or so.
And she wrote this foreboding piece about her return and her displeasure with Democrat Speaker Nancy Pelosi:
It has been recently reported that Nancy Pelosi said that impeachment is not “worth it.†Her faulty reasoning is that impeachment would take too much time because they don’t have the votes. If they could “whip†their own Democratic caucus into shape to defend and protect our Constitution and the people of Iraq and our soldiers as they whupped, cajoled,
threatened and browbeat the caucus into attaching “non-binding†time lines onto the last war funding bill, then impeachment would not only be possible, but likely.
The recent commutation of I. Scooter Libby’s sentence, however, was the straw that broke my camel’s back of exhausted ennui.

But, Cindy has threatened running against an established California Democrat politician previously:
California Senator Dianne Feinstein after hearing that Cindy Sheehan might run against her in 2006
American peace activist Cindy Sheehan, whose son was killed in Iraq, said Saturday she is strongly considering running for office against U.S. Sen. Dianne Feinstein because the California lawmaker will not support calls to immediately bring the troops home.
Sheehan, who was visiting Venezuela for the World Social Forum along with activists from around the world, said she has been thinking of challenging Feinstein for her seat for some time.
Antiwar activist Cindy Sheehan said at a news conference Thursday Feb. 9, 2006, in San Francisco’s Civic Center that she would not run against Dianne Feinstein in the Democratic U.S. Senate primary.
So, Cindy’s credibility on this issue is suspect. But, the media whore that she is – it gets her news and publicity. Flap doesn’t think San Fran Nan will lose my sleep over this threat.
The election campaign would be interesting though…….
