House 2012: National Republican Congressional Committee Has Twice as Much Cash as the Democrats

Posted Posted in Election 2012, National Republican Congressional Commitee, Rahm Emanuel

Well, the GOP did retake the House last year (see graphic above) – so, you would expect good fundraising from the special interests.
In the battle for control of the House of Representatives, the National Republican Congressional Committee has twice as much money in the bank as its Democratic counterpart.

The NRCC revealed late Monday that the party committee has $10.6 million cash on hand as of June 1, double the $5.3 million the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee reported having in the bank as of the end of last month.

The NRCC reported raising $4.6 million in May and a debt of $7 million. The DCCC brought in $3.8 million last month, with a debt of $6.6 million. The NRCC points out that they have raised $26.8 million so far this year, nearly double what they raised in the first half of 2009.

The Democrats will need to win 24 seats to regain the majority in the House. But, with Rahm Emanuel gone (elected Mayor of Chicago) and moderate Democrats having been largely replaced by Republicans (those recruited by Emanuel) the Democrats will be hard pressed to win back the House in 2012.

The money gap will make it even more difficult and unlikely.

Yes, Chris, the American voting public are being schooled on the Saul Alinsky book on organizing of which President Obama is a master.

Rahm Emanuel and David Axelrod have done a great job “learning” those Democrat members of Congress how to ridicule their constituents at Town Hall events – because THEY know better about Obamacare. There is only ONE problem, however.

The 2010 midterm Congressional elections.

President Obama and the far left radicals that control the congressional Democrats DON’T care what heartland America thinks. It is fly-over country and they are all tea-bagging town hall racists.

Right?

Well, probably not and average independent Americans are getting fed up with the redistributionist Obamanomics which is retread Jimmy Carter era economic malaise.

Exit question: Will Rahm Emanuel listen to the LEFT”S heart and sacrifice massive Democrat Party majorities in Congress to ram through Obamacare?

President Obama and Speaker Pelosi seem intent on ramming Obamacare through the legislative process – much like Obama’s 2008 campaign. However, the Democrats have overwhelming majorities in the House and Senate – even filibuster proof majorities.

So, why all of the nonsense about bipartisanship and un-American protests?

Come on, Rahm – just ram the legislation through, Obama will sign it and accept the political consequences. Didn’t you win the election? And, elections have consequences?

I can only imagine how many losses the Democrats will suffer in the House and Senate in 2010 when the “Baby Boom Generation” of Seniors take to the streets of political activism to reverse the rationing of their health care.

Come on, Rahm – Make My Day.

Jeremiah Wright: “Them JEWS Aren’t Going to Let Him (Obama) Talk to Me”

wrignt and obama

Glenn McCoy on Reverend Jeremiah Wright

President Obama’s former Pastor is back and says he has NO regrets.
The Rev. Jeremiah Wright says he does not feel any regrets over his severed relationship with President Barack Obama, a former member of the Chicago church in which Wright was the longtime pastor.

Wright also said that he had not spoken to his former church member since Obama became president, implying that the White House won’t allow Obama to talk to him. He did not indicate whether he had tried to reach Obama.

“Regret for what… that the media went back five, seven, 10 years and spent $4,000 buying 20 years worth of sermons to hear what I’ve been preaching for 20 years?

“Regret for preaching like I’ve been preaching for 50 years? Absolutely none,” Wright said.

Wright said that when he went to the polls, he did not hold any grudge against Obama.

“Of course I voted for him; he’s my son. I’m proud of him,” Wright said. “I’ve got five biological kids. They all make mistakes and bad choices. I haven’t stopped loving any of them.

“He made mistakes. He made bad choices. I’ve got kids who listen to their friends. He listened to those around him. I did not disown him.”

Asked if he had spoken to the President, Wright said: “Them Jews aren’t going to let him talk to me. I told my baby daughter, that he’ll talk to me in five years when he’s a lame duck, or in eight years when he’s out of office. …

“They will not let him to talk to somebody who calls a spade what it is. … I said from the beginning: He’s a politician; I’m a pastor. He’s got to do what politicians do.”

“Ethic cleansing is going on in Gaza. Ethnic cleansing of the Zionist is a sin and a crime against humanity, and they don’t want Barack talking like that because that’s anti-Israel,” Wright said.

So, does this mean Rahm Emanuel or those damn Israeli’s have hijacked the President?

How about Obama’s Mideast policies – is it all about the JEWS? or NOT?

Remember Obama is a politician and has to do what he has to do.

President Obama’s statements all have expiration dates, so what do you expect?

Remember when Obama Chief of Staff was the head of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee and he recruited conservative Democrats to run in red state Congressional Districts.

So, don’t let political philosophy mar your politics.

It is ALL about MONEY and POWER.
