Day By Day by Chris Muir January 18, 2009 – Hollywood East
Yes, Chris, you have to remember that everything President-Elect Obama has said (especially about policy issues) comes with an expiration date. But, Obama will have to make some decisions and within 6 months WILL be held accountable for something. In the meantime……
Hint to the RNC Chairman candidates: The GOP can no longer be the “STUPID PARTY.”
Suggestions:
- Technology
- Outreach
- Recruitment
- Policy
But, when?

Michael Steele, RNC Chairman Race and The GOPAC Push Back
Michael Steele GOPAC mailerFormer Maryland GOP Lt. Governor and Fox News Contributor Michael Steele is involved in a tough race for the RNC Chairmanship.
Every Republican activist Flap knows seems to like Michael Steele but not necessarily for the day to day operations of the party apparatus. Everyone acknowledges that Steele will make a great spokesperson for the GOP, particularly on television and talk radio. But, are the nuts and bolts of the party outside his expertise?
These two mailers to Republican National Committee Members seem to address this criticism.

Why Flap is NOT Missing a John McCain Election
Senator John McCain on ABC’s “This Week”, December 14, 2008
Answer (s):- “You know, in all due respect to the Republican National Committee and anybody — right now, I think we should try to be working constructively together…”. Video is here.
- “The committee’s report details the inexcusable link between abusive interrogation techniques used by our enemies who ignored the Geneva Conventions and interrogation policy for detainees in U.S. custody,” Sen. McCain said in a statement. “These policies are wrong and must never be repeated.”
Flap is not losing ANY sleep either wondering if McCain will EVER support Sarah Palin or any other Republican for President.
Like an old soldier, McCain should just fade away – and quickly.

Michael Steele – Wake Up People!
Former Republican Maryland Lt. Governor Michael Steele and candidate for Chairman, Repubican Natonal Committee
David Brody over at CBN News has some good video and interview of Michael Steele.Michael Steele, one of the leading contenders for Republican National Committee Chairman tells The Brody File that his conservative critics need to “wake up†and get over the fact that he once played a role in the centrist Republican Leadership Council.
The Brody File interviewed Steele one on one this morning. Watch his animated answer above and read a partial transcript below. To get his full comments and the emotion behind the words, you really need to watch the clip.
Flpa likes Steele and thinks he has the RIGHT STUFF to lead the GOP forward. the other candidates although good Republicans do not possess the experience in public office and in running a party like Steele.
Steele’s conservative cred is impeccable, despite what some others may be saying to discredit him.

Should South Carolina GOP Chairman Katon Dawson Withdraw as a Candidate for Chair of the Republican National Committee?
South Carolina Republican Chairman Katon Dawson
The answer is YES.Three Strikes and you are OUT.
State GOP chairman Katon Dawson, who is campaigning to lead the national Republican Party organization, has resigned a 12-year membership in a whites-only Columbia country club.
Dawson said last week his continued membership at Forest Lake Club could become a distraction to his efforts to help win elections for Republicans in South Carolina.
With the upcoming inauguration of the first African-American President of the United States does the Republican Party want to deal with this “BAGGAGE.” Not really a winning message, is it?
Gee, POTUS would NOT be allowed to play golf there?
Katon Dawson should withdraw his candidacy.
