Rush Limbaugh on Arlen Specter Leaving the Republican Party – Take McCain and His Daughter (Meghan) With You
This is not exactly what the LEFT is making of Rush’s comment.
But, it an intriguing thought.
Alas, Meghan McCain won’t be going.
Late Tuesday afternoon, Meghan McCain fired back on Twitter. “RED TIL I’M DEAD BABY!!! I love the republican party enough to give it constructive criticism, I love my party and sure as hell not leavin!”

Rush Limbaugh and Leaving New York
The Daily Show With Jon Stewart M – Th 11p / 10c Rush Limbaugh Leaves New York Daily Show Full Episodes Economic Crisis Political Humor Jon Stewart yesterday on The Daily ShowRush Limbaugh says he is leaving New York due to excess taxation.
Conservative standard bearer Rush Limbaugh told his radio audience that if Governor David Paterson’s new budget passes, he’ll move his show out of New York.
He told listeners, “I don’t know what the breaking point is … when people leave, I’m leaving … I’ll sell my condominium, I’ll sell my apartment. I’m going to get out of there totally. This is just absurd.”
Limbaugh is just one of many New Yorkers angry about the Governor’s weekend proposal to hike taxes for those making more than $250,000. The controversial talking head, who came clean about an addiction to pain killers in October 2003, is well in tune to his reputation in the Big Apple.
“New York is probably going to celebrate that I’m not going to come back … They hate me, so they’re happy I’m not coming back,” he said on his radio show. “They’re going to praise Paterson for driving me out, even though I am rarely there anyway.”
Limbaugh quoted a statement made by Mayor Bloomberg years ago saying that, “there are 40-50,000 taxpayers in this city of 8 million that pay so much tax they essentially support the city. If even 5,000 of them leave because of the tax hikes, there’ll be a big problem.”
This is certainly Limbaugh’s perogative and the fact that New York Governor is being reported to have said that if he knew that Rush would leave the state then he would have raised taxes earlier certainly cannot be settling for high income New York earners.
Besides left-wing comedian Jon Stewart can pay his fair share instead.

Meghan McCain Tweets: Rush Limbaugh is FAT FAT FAT FAT!!
Remember the Flap when Laura Ingraham and Meghan McCain (the Progressive Republican) had the “FAT” dust-up? And, Meghan told Ingraham to kiss her ass?

Now, Meghan is staying classy again.
Update:
A follower on Twitter suggested I state the obvious but here goes: This is a PARODY.

Ken Blackwell Comes Out With a Long Knife for Michael Steele; Update: Mike Huckabee is troubled by Steele Abortion Comments
+++++Update+++++Former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee expresses his disappointment with Michael Steele
Comments attributed to Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele are very troubling and despite his clarification today the party stands to lose many of its members and a great deal of its support in the trenches of grassroots politics. Since 1980, our party has been steadfast and principled in believing in the dignity and worth of every human life. We have supported a Constitutional amendment to protect life and the party
has taken the position that no one individual has the supreme right to own another person in totality including the right to take that life. For Chairman Steele to even infer that taking a life is totally left up to the individual is not only a reversal of Republican policy and principle, but it’s a violation of the most basic of human rights–the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. His statement today helps, but doesn’t explain why he would ever say what he did in the first place. The Republican National Committee Chairman field, January 2009
Right now, Mike Duncan does NOT look so bad.You know the Flap over RNC Chairman Michael Steele’s interview with GQ and his comments on abortion – after the disaster of criticizing Rush Limbaugh and equating the GOP convention attendess with Nazis.
Ken Blackwell:“Chairman Steele, as the leader of America’s Pro-Life conservative party, needs to re-read the Bible, the U.S. Constitution, and the 2008 GOP Platform. He then needs to get to work — or get out of the way.”
Flap would say that Steele is on a very short leash, remembering Ken Blackwell’s endorsement of Steele is what lead Steele to victory over Katon Dawson.
The long GOP knives are out for Steele.

Poll Watch: Republicans Say GOP is Leaderless – NOT Rush Limbaugh
In the March 16 issue of Newsweek (on newsstands Monday, March 9): ‘Enough! A Conservative’s Case Against Limbaugh’ David Frum examines Rush Limbaugh’s impact on the GOP and what conservatives need to do to assure people that Rush is not the voice of the party
Who is in charge of the national Republican Party?- Rush Limbaugh?
- John McCain?
- Sarah Palin?
- Michael Steele?
Sixty-eight percent (68%) of Republican voters say their party has no clear leader, according to a new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey. Another 17% are undecided.
Just five percent (5%) view either John McCain, the GOP’s unsuccessful 2008 presidential candidate, or new party chairman Michael Steele as the party’s leader.
Two percent (2%) see conservative radio commentator Rush Limbaugh in that role, and one percent (1%) name McCain’s running mate, Alaska Govenror Sarah Palin. Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell and House Minority Leader John Boehner are each seen as GOP leader by less than one-half of one percent.
This is as expected from a party that is out of power and coming off a Goerge W. Bush Presidency.
The Operation Limbaugh project enigineered in the Obama White House has been a failure and merely a distraction to a country seeking Presidential leadership, particularly on the economy.
As for David Frum, he does NOT speak for this conservative and by many political pundits is no longer considered a conservative because of his moderate to liberal views on the issues. Newsweek and the Washington Post who owns Newsweek needs to move along to another FAUX-conservative.

President Obama Wallows in the Mud With Rush Limbaugh
Flap doesn’t think Obama’s political operatives are serving the President very well with this Rush Limbaugh fight. If the first six weeks of the Barack Obama administration can be summed up in one sentence, it would be this: Obama fiddled with Rush Limbaugh while Wall Street burned. Politico reports that the demonization of Rush Limbaugh comes as a deliberate strategy by Obama and the Democrats, who hoodwinked people into believing that a Chicago Machine pol really wanted to change the partisan nature of politics.
But, then again, James Carville and Paul Begala are Charter Members of the Clinton Cabal, now aren’t they?

Poll Watch: 11 Per Cent of Republicans Say Rush Limbaugh is GOP Leader
Conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh talks with guests in the East Room of the White House in Washington, prior to a Presidential Medal of Freedom ceremony for Colombian President Alvaro Uribe, former British Prime Minister Tony Blair and former Australian Prime Minister John Howard, January 13, 2009
OPERATION LIMBAUGH planned by Obama political operatives, (Obama Chief of Staff) Rahm Emanuel, James Carville and Paul Begala appears to have NO legs.
Despite efforts by the Obama political team and its surrogates to link Rush Limbaugh to the Republican Party, just 11% of GOP voters say the conservative radio commentator is the party’s leader.
Eighty-one percent (81%) of Republican voters disagree and 8% are undecided in a new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey.
Democrats, however, are closely divided– 44% say Limbaugh is the Republican leader and 41% don’t believe it. Among voters not affiliated with either of the major national parties, 27% say Limbaugh is the Republicans’ leader, while 58% say he is not and 15% are undecided.
American voters are seeing through this FAUX-Democrat manufactured FLAP.
After President Bush, the LEFT needs someone to demonize and then associate with the Republican Party while distracting Americans from the retread, flailing policies of the Obama Administration.
Not working, is it?

Video: Who is the Republican Party’s REAL Leader? Rush Limbaugh
TV Ad which will air in DC and national cable channels tomorrowThe Far Left including the Americans United for Change continue to demonize for ol’ El Rushbo in his Democrat Faux Flap with RNc Chairman Michael Steele.
The ad is actually quite funny. I like the part where Rush is jumping and a jiggling around.
The fact is the Democrat LEFT has to divert attention away from the thus far “FLAILING AND FAILING” Obama Administration:
- The Economy is in a shambles, falling apart and markets are crashing after Obama’s budget and Economic Stimulus Bill
- America and Obama is humiliated by Russia regarding Iranian missile defense and the selling out of allies Poland and the Czech Republic. And, now Hillary Clinton must now bail out the rookie Obama.
- And, how many tax cheats are either in the Administration or have been disqualified even after Obama vetting.
I can understand why the television ads will run featuring Rush – comic relief from weeks of Obama downers.

Day By Day by Chris Muir February 14, 2009 – Blondes, Etc.
Janeane Garofolo is a joke – even for a third rate stand-up comedian.Read her interview where she called Sarah Palin and the Republican Party “small-minded and mean-spirited” here.
She had a “FAILED” radio program on Air American Radio in its incarnation before it went bankrupt, shed Al Franken’s high salary and reincarnated itself.
Just another Hollywood celeb LEFTIST with a poor dye job…..
++++++++++In blogging matters, Flap is happy to be back after surgery although I am quite sore and energy is in short supply. Thanks to all of my readers, here at Flapsblog and on Facebook/Twitter for their kind regards.
Happy Valentine’s Day.
